Golden Apple

The GOLDEN APPLE AWARD is available to all food service employees working in elementary through high school. It is given annually in recognition of outstanding nutrition education programs in the classroom, food service area, or district each school year.

The CRITERIA for the award is as follows:

Food service employees must show evidence of self-initiated nutrition education projects or activities. One award will be given annually in each of the two categories, single unit and school district.

Submit entries on the Golden Apple Award Application no later than June 1, 2012 to:

The winner will be notified on or before June 15, 2012. The award will be presented at the Missouri School Nutrition Association’s Annual Conference in November 2012.
