For the Gold Certificate, chapters must meet 14 goals.
For the Silver Certificate, chapters must complete 11 goals.

1. Promote MSNA and SNA at a chapter meeting.
2. Two or more chapter meetings were conducted.
3. A roster of elected officials for the 2012-13 year was submitted to MSNA president and executive secretary before Sept 1, 2012.
4. Chapter membership has increased.
5. Post chapter information on the web (contact Regional Director for instructions).
6. Submit article to the Messenger.
7. Participate in the wellness challenge on the SNA website.
8. Increase the number of certified members within a chapter.
9. Extend district-sponsored workshops to surrounding districts.
10. Hold one chapter meeting about legislative issues and/or how to contact your representative.
11. Report on Serve Safe, Healthy Edge, Target Your Market, or Now You are Cooking workshops, sponsored by your chapter, to MSNA president.
12. Talk about new food guidance pyramid at chapter meeting.
13. Collect items for community needs at one chapter meeting (or more).
14. Hold a wellness event at a chapter meeting (like a walk or short exercise period).
15. Chapter representative attend at least one state executive board meeting.
16. Chapter President attends ANC.
17. Nominate one chapter member for state office.
18. Invite an executive board member of MSNA to come to a chapter meeting.
