Chapter Goals

CHAPTER GOALS

2011-2012

Please download the Chapter Goals checklist, check the activities your chapter
has completed and return to the president by Sept 1, 2012.
For the Gold Certificate, chapters must meet 12 goals.
For the Silver Certificate, chapters must complete nine goals.

1. Promote MSNA and SNA at a chapter meeting.
2. Two or more chapter meetings were conducted.
3. A roster of elected officials for the 2012-13 year was submitted to MSNA president and executive secretary before Sept 1, 2012.
4. Chapter membership has increased by 5 members.
5. Post chapter information on the web (contact Regional Director for instructions).
6. Chapter makes a donation to Global Child Nutrition Foundation and sends a copy of the donation form to the state president.
7. Collect items for community needs at one chapter meeting.
8. Chapter representative attends at least one state executive board meeting.
9. President attends ANC.
10. Two (2) chapter members attend state conference.
11. Invite an executive board member of MSNA to come to a chapter meeting.
12. Have a member of your chapter apply for a state award. (Louise Sublette)
13. Nominate someone in your chapter for a state award. (Heart of the Program or Director of the Year)
14. Update members on Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act at chapter meeting.
15. Show Tray-Talk video at chapter meeting.
16. Provide programming on adapting to change at one chapter meeting.
