DESCRIPTION:Missouri School Nutrition Association Annual Conference Call for Proposals \nThe Missouri School Nutrition Association (MSNA) is accepting proposals for educational sessions at the\n2026 Annual Conference\,\nNovember 6 – 8\, 2026\, The Chateau on the Lake\, Branson\, MO. \nSession Information \nMSNA is seeking proposals that address one of the School Nutrition Association’s four Key Areas of Excellence in School Nutrition Programs\,\nincluding Operations\, Nutrition\, Administration and Communications and Marketing.  Refer to .pdf listing of key area topics. \nTo ensure attendees’ educational needs are met\, the conference planning committee will review each proposal to determine\nif the content aligns with members educational needs. \nEducation sessions may be planned for 45-minute time slots on a specific topic and will take place on Saturday during the conference.\nSpeakers may be asked to repeat the educational session if enough time slots are available. \nMSNA adopts the national School Nutrition Association policy on marketing of industry products or services: \n“Commercials/proprietary information for products\, services\, vendors\, promotion of an exhibit booth\,\nand food samples/food tastings ARE NOT PERMITTED in the Call for Proposal\,\nthe PowerPoint presentation and during the pre-conference and educational sessions.\nFor PowerPoint presentations\, company logos are only allowed on the opening and final slides.\nAny use of proprietary information should have an educational value and be provided free of charge.” \nSubmission of Proposals \nThe 2026 Call for Proposals form for proposals must be submitted by email to msna@mosba.org with the subject heading\n2026 CONFERENCE PROPOSAL by Friday\, May 1\, 2026\, to be considered. \n\n\n\nOPENING KEYNOTE SPEAKER – ASHLEY MORENA\nAshley is a keynote speaker\, entrepreneur\, and Founder & CEO of Project School Nutrition.   With over a decade of experience in K-12 leadership\, she has helped transform school nutrition programs nationwide while empowering leaders to reconnect with their purpose and confidence.  Ashley’s talks blend real-life leadership lessons\, wellness\, and practical strategies that inspire audiences to lead with intention and impact. \n \n  \nCLOSING KEYNOTE SPEAKER – WILLIE SPEARS\nWillie is a highly sought-after speaker\, critically acclaimed author\, educator\, and coach known for his passionate\, energetic\, and often hilarious approach to teaching life management skills.  A former student-athlete\, Spears holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Northwestern Oklahoma State University and a master’s degree in Education from Troy University.  At its core\, The Willie Spears Experience is driven by one mission; to create impact by adding value to the lives of others. \n \n
