ATTENTION 2025 Missouri SNA ANNUAL CONFERENCE ATTENDEES!!

MSNA WILL HAVE A CONFERENCE APP THIS YEAR!
There will not be a printed conference booklet.  Stay tuned for additional information as it becomes available!

Hotel Accommodations: The Chateau on the Lake Resort Spa & Convention Center will be the official site for the conference lodging. A block of rooms for attendees is available for reservations. After the association has received your registration and payment, you will be sent the link to the Online Room Registration at the Chateau on the Lake.

Missouri SNA reserves the right to cancel, without notification, any reservation that does not have a corresponding attendee(s) registration(s) for Missouri SNA 2025 Annual Conference. Room reservations must be made before Sunday, October 5, 2025. The reduced room rate will be $146.00 for single or double, plus tax per night.

Parking: Surface lot parking is $10.00 per 24 hours (waived if you are a registered overnight guest of the Chateau). Garage parking is available for $15.00 per 24 hours. Valet parking is available for $25.00 per 24 hours.

Pre-Conference Information

MSNA Pre-Conference: Farm to School Planning

Date: Friday, November 7, 2025

Meet by Registration in Atrium by 8:55 a.m., sharp.  Bus will depart from the Chateau for the Air BnB venue at 9:00 a.m.

Hosts:

  • Katlyn Lanoue RDN, LD: Officer of Nutrition and Compliance (Kansas City Public Schools)

Location: Air BnB 5 minutes from the Chateau on the Lake, Branson, Mo

Transportation: Bus transportation to and from the Air BnB venue

 

Cultivating Connections from Farm to Cafeteria

In partnership with DHSS, this hands-on, interactive pre-conference is designed to equip school nutrition professionals with the knowledge, tools, and inspiration to launch or expand Farm to School initiatives. From local purchasing to recipe development, participants will gain practical skills and a clear roadmap to success. 

What You’ll Experience:

  • Farm to School Fundamentals: Understand the core principles and benefits of integrating local agriculture into school meals.
  • Local Purchasing Strategies: Learn how to source ingredients from nearby farms and producers.
  • Culinary Innovation: Engage in a recipe development session featuring a spaghetti meat sauce made with seasonal, locally grown produce.
  • Grant Funding Guidance: Discover how to leverage available grant funds to support Farm to School efforts.
  • Producer Connections: Meet local growers and explore opportunities to collaborate and utilize funding effectively.
  • Action Planning: Walk away with a personalized, actionable plan to integrate Farm to School into your district’s nutrition program.

School nutrition directors, food service managers, educators, and anyone passionate about improving student access to fresh, nutritious meals through local sourcing.

BE SURE AND VIEW THE VENDOR HALL LAYOUT BEFORE REGISTERING.  YOU WILL BE ASKED TO MAKE THREE BOOTH SELECTIONS FROM THE AVAILABLE BOOTHS.

Overflow Hotel Accommodations:  The association has secured a block of rooms for vendors at The Ozarker Lodge located at 995 Hwy 165, Branson, MO 65616.  The room rate is $149.00 per night for double queens.  To make reservations you can call the hotel directly at 417-348-1683 and reference the Missouri School Nutrition Association to receive the contracted rateor use the online reservation link https://be.synxis.com/?Hotel=39666&arrive=2025-11-06&depart=2025-11-09&group=2511MOSCHO    Reservations must be made by Monday, October 6 to receive the group contracted room rate.
